Ironically, my difficulty and anxiety as a youngster to instantly grasp a new drill, greatly affected the way I coached after hanging up my spikes, and it’s to your benefit.
I’m a Firm believer, if the Coach and/or Player does Not grasp the mechanics, the purpose and the intended strategy behind a Drill, it’s impossible to learn 100% of the Skill the drill was created to develop and/or improve.
I take a Different & Perhaps Unique approach to teaching the skills of baseball compared to most other sites. You won’t Just be exposed to the drill … I will detail the specific purpose for the drill, in-depth demonstrations and illustrations of the mechanics, and the Philosophy behind the drill.
You’ll be carefully guided, step by step, through building blocks which will allow you to elevate your team’s skill level, whether a beginner team or an established team with a winning tradition.
Youth baseball coaching is easy if you say “Go out there, have fun and play the game.” It’s quite another to tell and demonstrate to players the correct skills to play the game.
